Issue of the week:
in the name of “security”, the Trump admin has chosen to further their racists ideals by: ignoring recommendations that family separation would cause trauma to children, creating the policy of family separation with the intent for maximal harm, having no plan to track and then losing thousands of families who were separated, allowing private prisons to profit off these children, lying under oath, about what was done, and now refusing to reunite families, claiming it would be too hard. We can have security without cruelty. We must stop the wall and stop family separation.
Calls to congress: stop the wall stop family separation:
My name is XX. I’m a constituent from zip code XX. I thank Sen/Rep for standing strong against the wall and getting the government open again. I need him/her to do more and:
- Passing funding bills with NO money for the wall
- Ending and investigating family separation at the border
My name is XX. I’m a constituent from zip code XX. I want to make it clear to the Senator/Rep that I am against the wall and am glad the shutdown is over. I need him/her to step up and:
- Passing funding bills with NO money for the wall
- Ending and investigating family separation at the border
Bonus action stop Barr and get your MoC on the record about a public Mueller report:
- My name is XX. I’m a constituent from zip code XX. I’m very concerned about the Mueller report and feel it must be made public for all to see. I ask the Senator to 1) vote no on Barr’s nomination because he won’t commit to a pubic report 2) do all he or she can to make sure the report is public 3) make a public statement that the Mueller report must be made public.
