Action of the week:
As of our taping the shutdown is on going STILL and the Democrats have come out with bold plans for governing. House Dems passed a rules package and introduced HR1 – a sweeping anti-corruption, voting rights bill. It is supplemented by Wyden and Blumenauer’s Vote by Mail Companion bill and will have a companion bill introduced in the Senate by Merkley. For now, we need to call to pass HR1 and to get the government reopened.
