With a new Congress on the horizon Indivisible Guide 2.0 is out.  While we keep up the defense, we are going on the offense on the federal and state level. 

And while you are reading the new guides from Indivisible, demand this lame duck Congress do the right thing and pass a budget with no wall funding, keep food stamps safe in the farm bill, and elect Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.  NANCY IS A BOSS AND WE NEED HER TO GET ANYTHING DONE IN CONGRESS.

Calls to congress 

SCRIPT for Senators: “My name is [name]. I am a constituent and I live in ZIP code [number]. I am calling to ask Senator[name] to fight for 1) a new spending bill without any funding for President Trump’s wall, and 2) a Farm bill without punitive work requirements that will keep people from receiving food stamps. I also disturbed at the intraparty fight over the House Speaker’s position. I ask the Senator to follow Sen. Schumer’s lead and to publicly endorse Rep. Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. Thank you.” 

SCRIPT for Reps: “My name is [name]. I am a constituent and I live in ZIP code [number]. I am calling to ask Representative [name] to fight for 1) a new spending bill without any funding for President Trump’s wall, and 2) a Farm bill without punitive work requirements that will keep people from receiving food stamps. I also disturbed at the intraparty fight over the House Speaker’s position. Rep. Pelosi has my strong support, and I ask Rep. [name} to support her as well. Thank you.”
